Mark grew up in Benoni, near Johannesburg. he won just about every title in south africa in dinghies and small keelboats, including a j22 worlds.he was the skipper of the south african america's cup team shosholoza. he currently lives in palma de mallorca where he forms part of the management of the north sails loft. he competes professionally on a vast array of keelboats from swan 50's to super yachts.
